Day 8: Worthy of Rest

You ARE worthy of a nap, a break, and some time off. You deserve it.

Pat yourself on the back for getting through whatever life has thrown at you. Because this stuff is hard. Really, really hard. And you can’t just keep going like a machine all the time, so let focused on the end goal.

Did you hear what Amy Seroussi said in her interview this past week? She talked about how she and her husband have been infertile for over 11 years, but they have never done more than 1-2 IVF cycles in a year. She/They needed the time to break, recoup, rest, and come back to themselves before trying again.

And now were talking directly to all of you. You have our permission, and we hope you have your own permission as well to listen to that inner voice who just wants to rest. You don’t have to keep going all the time. You don’t have to keep pushing. It’s only to smell the roses outside, learn about what makes you happy beyond a baby, to find the things and places where you can thrive beyond the fertility clinic.

Please incorporate rest into your lives.
We promise that not bony will it benefit your fertility journey, but it will also benefit your body, your mind and your soul.

**********
As the dwindling hours of chanuka are upon us, please take a look back at our posts for the last 8 days. We have tried to use this time to remind each of you of your own worthiness, even though this process can be so defeating at times. You are whole, you are loved, and you are so much more than the number of children you have.
