Aimee Baron MD, Founder and Executive Director of IWSTHAB, leans on her life experiences as both a former infertility and recurrent miscarriage sufferer, and a physician. Her goal is for everyone to feel heard, warmly and sensitively.

Talia Mizrahi MS, is a Certified Grief Educator with experience supporting newly bereaved, miscarriage, and survivors of suicide loss. She is trained as an Early childhood Mental Health Specialist and a Grief Movement Guide and approaches all her work through a trauma-informed lens. Having experienced infertility and loss, Talia knows the power of connection during our most vulnerable moments. She considers it a privilege to support people throughout the grief journey.

Talia K. Sanford MS is a Genetic Counselor and has an MS in Human Genetics. With her background and knowledge in the fertility space, she feels armed to help others during the challenging and lengthy course of IVF for Genetic Reasons, PGT, understanding carriers screenings and the emotions surrounding the journey.

Shirel Korobkin is a Certified Grief Educator specializing in pregnancy loss and infertility. Drawing from professional and personal experiences, she creates a compassionate space for those experiencing loss. As an Olah, Shirel understands the unique challenges of grief in a new culture, offering warmth and empathy to help others on their healing journey.  

Shira Collings LPC (she/they) is a psychotherapist specializing in LGBTQ+ affirming and neurodiversity affirming eating disorder care as well as a Certified Miscarriage and Bereavement Doula. Shira’s personal experience with recurrent pregnancy loss sparked their passion for supporting others struggling to build a family, in particular those with marginalized identities. She strives to create spaces where people feel safe to be their full, authentic selves.

Aliza Abrams Konig LMSW, is the Surrogacy Consultant for IWSTHAB. As someone who has built her family with the support of surrogacy she is passionate about raising sensitivity and awareness around surrogacy in the Jewish community. During the rest of her work hours, Aliza is the Director of Student Leadership at Yeshiva University' Rabbi Sacks-Herenstein Center for Values and Leadership. Aliza is a member of the inaugural Wexner Field Fellows program through the Wexner Foundation. She has spoken worldwide in synagogues, community centers, and schools about leadership, education, faith, prayer and issues related to the contemporary Jewish family, dating, infertility, surrogacy and family. Aliza holds a BA in Judaic Studies from Stern College, and a Master’s in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work and is now a doctoral candidate at Wurzweiler. Aliza, her husband Samuel, and their family live in Riverdale, New York, where they are very involved with their community, synagogue, and other local organizations.
