“Why Is It Taking So Long?”

Sharing this voice from the community about the pain of secondary infertility and how it is heart wrenching to hear a child ask “when will I get a sibling?”

“My daughter has been struggling with secondary infertility.

Her son is 4 and a half and he told me he wants a brother or a sister. I told him I thought he would have one.

Then he asked, ‘Why is it taking so long?’

Yes, I cry when I think of his sweet, innocent question.”
