The Story of A Molar Pregnancy: Dayeinu!

It would have been enough if it was just a miscarriage.

It would have been enough if it was just a D&C.

It would have been enough if it was just a molar pregnancy.

It would have been enough if it was just the chemotherapy treatment (to kill the quasi-cancerous cells in my body).

It would have been enough if it was just weekly blood work (to make sure I wasn’t pregnancy anymore).

It would have been enough if it we just had to wait 6 months before trying again.

It would have been enough if there were thousands of dollars of medical bills after the loss.

It would have been enough if it my family and friends didn’t support me through the waiting.

Every part of a molar pregnancy feels like things can’t get worse than what is happening right now…. and then it does.
