*June* Pride & Possibility: LGBTQ+ Family-Building & Summer Renewal

Join us on Wednesday, June 24, at 12:00 PM EDT for our next virtual webinar, "Pride & Possibility: LGBTQ+ Family-Building & Summer Renewal."

This is part of our year-long program, 12 Months of Compassion, designed to provide accessible education and emotional support through monthly webinars.

In this webinar, Shira Collings, LPC, and Daniela Weiss, PhD, LMSW, C-PST will explore the different ways Jewish families on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum build their families with pride and purpose.

This 60–90-minute session with subject matter experts is designed to provide a safe space for navigating, expert guidance, and communal support as we explore the medical and emotional foundations of the fertility journey.

Shira Collings, LPC (she/they), is a therapist licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Oregon, Washington, and Nevada, specializing in perinatal loss and complex reproductive experiences, LGBTQ+-affirming therapy, eating disorders, and neurodiversity-affirming therapy. Her therapy approach is rooted in feminist theory, queer and trans liberation, fat liberation, disability justice, and reproductive justice. In addition to their professional experience, Shira has lived experience navigating recurrent pregnancy loss and a termination for medical reasons as a queer parent. Shira lives in Philadelphia, PA with their husband, two cats, and quadruple rainbow baby. You can learn more about Shira’s therapy practice at threadandthreshold.com.
