Small Talk: What You Wish You Could Say vs What You Actually Say

That feeling when someone asks you "How are you?" and you contemplate telling them the honest truth, that you are feeling so hurt, sad, angry, frustrated, lonely, and helpless, but then you decide otherwise and just answer with "I'm fine".

It can be so hard to keep all the emotions and hurt inside, but also you don't feel comfortable pouring your heart out in the middle of the grocery store to Rebecca who you haven't seen in a while.

We see those of you who answer "I'm fine" when you are the farthest from "fine".
