What We Lose

She might have already given the baby a name.

She might have been planning what would happen when the baby was born.

He could have been considering naming the baby for his father.

He could have been thinking about having a son to play with on long weekend afternoons.

They might have been waiting to get pregnant for years.

They might have gotten pregnant on the first "try."

It doesn't matter.

It was their baby.

Yes, I Lost An Early Pregnancy But I Also Lost.....

  • The Newborn Stage: Getting those newborn snuggles and hearing their laugh for the first time

  • Toddlerhood: Listening to them say "Mommy" and "Daddy" and seeing their face light up as you light the Menorah for Chanuka

  • School-aged: Watching their personality develop and hearing them sing the "Ma-nishtana"

  • Adolescence: Do they like sports or music? Are they an introvert or extrovert? The joy of seeing how they become independent and choose a life path, career and friends

When my baby died, I lost the chance to give All That Love to Someone New

So, don't just tell me it was only a bunch of cells
