Emotions of Egg Freezing

We’re reflecting on the many thoughts and emotions that come with IVF. These are merely a handful.
Some others not in the graphic:
* Lonely - will my parents/family understand and support my choice to do this?
* Anxious - what if I have the eggs and don’t find a partner? What will I do with those eggs? Do I even want to entertain being a single mother?
* Hopeful and Empowered - now I don’t feel the pressure to “settle” and just get married for the sake of having children. I feel like I have choice back.
And this is without mentioning all the emotions that can be side effects of the medications:
* Depressed
* Anxious
* Irritable
* More likely to cry
* Quicker to react to emotional triggers
Let us hold you on this journey.
