210. No Loss is “Too Small to Mourn” with Chaya Hott, Talia Mizrahi, M.S., and Shirel Korobkin

In this episode, Dr. Baron sits down with Chaya Hott, Talia Mizrahi, M.S., and Shirel Korobkin, grief educators and support group leaders to discuss the nuances and differences between various types of fertility and pregnancy losses. The conversation explores how all reproductive pain is deeply valid without turning grief into a competition.

Chaya Hott, Talia Mizrahi, M.S., and Shirel Korobkin share their own personal journeys through trauma and grief, including lived experiences with stillbirth, miscarriage, circumstantial infertility and the power of a support network. They open up about the unique challenges tied to different milestones of loss, from the isolation of an unacknowledged early miscarriage to the devastating public reality of a late-stage stillbirth.

Together, they emphasize the importance of talking about pain instead of hiding it, and how finding a community allows you to grieve exactly as you are.

Whether you’re grieving right now, healing from a past loss, or supporting someone else through theirs, this episode is for you.
