One of the pieces that makes this time of year so difficult is the heaviness.

⚖️We know that this is when G-d determines our lives for the the next 12 months. He decides all the good and all the bad. And many have the view that if we’re not perfect in our actions or intentions, G-d will seal our fate with something terrible.

Which then leads to the inevitable -
“I can’t even bring myself to pray this year. I feel so distant from Him and all religion.”
Or
“I’m just going through the motions, but there’s nothing inside.”
Or
“I’m so angry at Him for not listening to me over and over again. I’m a good person. Why do they get xxxx and I’m constantly struggling?”
