Share Light on Chanukah

We hear you.

Chanukah is hard. You are not alone if you feel this way.

We compiled your responses to how you are feeling about Chanukah approaching.

We know that this time of year, and Chanukah, is especially hard for the infertility and loss community.

We saw this beautiful initiative and we just had to share it with all of you.

We strive to spread sensitivity, inclusivity, and kindness in this community and in the world. We feel that this initiative is the essence of our work in this space.

Here are some practical examples about how you can make Chanukah a little easier for people feeling lonely this time of year.

  1. Light the Menorah

    • Extend an invitation to join you in lighting the menorah. It is a special way to include people in Chanukah celebrations and help them connect to the holiday.

  2. Shabbat Chanukah

    • Shabbat Chanukah can be especially lonely, have some people over for a meal and end the night with some gelt and donuts!

  3. Chanukah Parties

    • Host a Chanukah party, filled with latkas, menorah lighting, and Chanukah-themed music. Maybe end the night with a Mystery Maccabee gift swap.
