For so many people in our community, the back-to-school season coupled with Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur don't bring the excitement of new backpacks, clothes and honey cake recipes.

This time of year is just another reminder that they are *still* struggling. It reminds them that everyone else is moving ahead, and they are still stuck in the same place.

To those of you longing for a child to send off on their first day of school….
